Grievance will release its fifth full-length album, Lúgubres Devaneios De Abismos E Sombras, on May 5th, 2026. The record will be issued as a vinyl-only release through Haloran Records in collaboration with Larvae Records.
Founded in 1997 by Koraxid and Azarath, Grievance has operated as Koraxid’s solo project since 2011. On the new album, Koraxid handles all instruments and vocals.
Lúgubres Devaneios De Abismos E Sombras was conceived and recorded by Koraxid at Axe Farm Studios between July and December 2025. According to the label, the album stands as the band’s most somber and complete work to date, rooted in abyssal themes and shaped by folklore, empirical experience, and oneiric visions. Its lyrical world explores the threshold between the tangible and the subliminal, delving into dark premonitions, wandering reflections, and the most obscure aspects of existence.
The album also features several special guests. Lord Drahkhul of Empalamento contributes synthesizer to the opening track, while Nocturnus Horrendus and J. Goat of Corpus Christii provide guest vocals on “Torturas”.
